John Chaney Speaks to Rotary Club About the New Winchester-Clark County Entrepreneurial Academy

John Chaney, founder of the Winchester-Clark County Entrepreneurial Academy, addressed the Winchester Rotary Club to introduce Launch Lab — a free, nine-session program launching this September that gives Clark County teens ages 13 to 18 the chance to build a real business from the ground up. Chaney shared the story behind the WCEA, drawing on his 27 years teaching in Clark County Schools, and outlined how the program's coaches, Soft Launch Event, and Pitch Night work together to give students a real shot at entrepreneurship — regardless of family income.

The talk is part of a broader effort to introduce the WCEA to Clark County's civic and business community ahead of the program's first cohort, with similar conversations planned with Kiwanis and the Elks Lodge in the weeks ahead.
