WCEA Advisory Board Charter
Program Document · Built Through Relationships, Not an Application
This is the document that makes the pitch easy: join something that asks for an opinion once or twice a year, not a legal commitment. It draws a clean line against the real Board of Directors — no vote, no fiduciary duty, no quorum, just expertise and introductions where WCEA doesn't have the seats to hold them itself. Five seats are named as the ones worth building toward — Extension and 4-H, funder relations, local business, education, communications — each one a place a relationship can plug in before it's ready to become anything bigger. It closes with the exact words to say when asking: this isn't the board, and it's not a big ask.
