This is the practical, step-by-step guide that walks every adult with student contact through completing Kentucky's mandatory reporter training before they can begin coaching, mentoring, or serving on the board. It explains what reasonable suspicion means under Kentucky law, walks through the free 30-minute course at mandatedreportertraining.com (the Volunteers course for coaches, mentors, and board members; the General course for the Executive Director), and gives exact reporting steps — including the Kentucky Child Abuse Hotline and Winchester Police Department — for anyone who suspects abuse. Certificates are submitted directly to John Chaney, and no coaching or mentoring role is confirmed without one on file. Training must be renewed every two years.
