WCEA Whistleblower Protection Policy

Board Document · Adopted July 15, 2026

This policy protects anyone connected to WCEA — board members, the Program Director, coaches, mentors, volunteers, contractors, or program participants — who reports a good-faith concern about illegal activity, financial misconduct, undisclosed conflicts of interest, student safety violations, or misrepresentation to funders. Reports can go to Board Chair Andy Stephenson, General Counsel Judge Tyler Frazier, or any board member if the concern involves either of them. No one who reports honestly can face retaliation, even if the concern turns out to be unfounded — though knowingly filing a false report is itself a violation. Every report is acknowledged within 10 business days and reviewed accordingly.
