WCEA Student Code of Conduct
Program Document · Required for Every Launch Lab and Academy Student · Signed Before Session 1
This is the conduct agreement every student and parent or guardian reads and signs before Session 1 — written directly for students, not just about them. It covers attendance and real participation expectations, respect for fellow students and staff, honest dealing with customers (including equal service regardless of who they are), and respecting other students' business ideas as their own. It carries the same boundary and safety standards as WCEA's adult-facing policies — sessions and events only, no one-on-one contact outside that, two adults always present — translated into plain language a teenager will actually read. Most first issues start with a conversation; anything involving harassment, discrimination, or a safety concern skips straight to action, with parents part of every serious conversation and authorities notified when required.
